it's true! dirk and i celebrated our one year anniversary on the 30th, and while i had grand visions of celebrating this day with some good time thrifting, a little road trip adventure, and a delicious crab leg dinner -- it really played out with dirk tucking me into bed with a box of kleenex, about eighty quilts, a bottle of nyquil, and a kiss on the forehead. sigh. my head has been full of wedding memories from last year and lately i have been listening to much

beach house, and
goldfrapp from our reception playlist. takes me right back to that lovely night one year ago -- i am
such the lucky lady...

That night was a memorable trek in the falling snow (missing you by 5 minutes)... A special glow about the day, as I recall, followed by a blue moon.
